Attendance

At Beechcliffe School, we know that regular attendance plays a vital role in your child’s success – both academically and socially. Being in school every day helps pupils build confidence, engage in learning, and develop positive relationships with peers and staff.

We are committed to:
  • Promoting good attendance for all pupils
  • Reducing absence, including persistent and severe absence
  • Ensuring every pupil receives their full entitlement to a high-quality, full-time education
  • Acting early to identify and address patterns of absence
  • Building strong relationships with families to support regular attendance
To recognise and celebrate commitment to good attendance, we offer half-termly rewards for pupils who show excellent or significantly improved attendance. These rewards are a positive way to encourage consistency and celebrate individual efforts.

If your child is unable to attend school due to illness or any other reason, please contact us each morning to let us know. We understand that difficulties can arise, and we are here to help. Our dedicated team is always available to offer support and work with families to ensure every child can attend school as often as possible.

If you need help or advice, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.

Hey there, couldn’t help noticing you’re using Internet Explorer

That’s great and all, and we commend you for pushing through with it. Unfortunately we no longer offer support for IE; it hasn’t received a major update since 2015 and Microsoft are dropping support for it later in the year.

If you’re using Windows 10 and want to stick with a built in browser, please consider switching to Edge. Or, if you really want to enjoy the internet properly we strongly recommend downloading Google Chrome here.
