PE

Physical Education (PE) at Beechcliffe Thackley plays a key role in promoting students’ physical health, teamwork, and overall well-being. Our PE curriculum is designed to offer a broad and balanced range of activities, including individual and team sports, fitness challenges, and skill development tailored to different age groups and abilities. We foster an inclusive and encouraging environment where every student is supported in building confidence, improving skills, and enjoying an active lifestyle.

To enhance and enrich our PE provision, we work closely with partner schools and community organisations. This includes access to specialist facilities such as a climbing wall, running track, 4G pitch, and trampolines. We also benefit from links with external partners like the Bradford Bulls Foundation, who deliver engaging Rugby League sessions, and Bradford City in the Community, who provide expert-led football coaching. These partnerships give our students unique opportunities to broaden their experiences, deepen their skills, and develop a lifelong love for sport and physical activity.

Hey there, couldn’t help noticing you’re using Internet Explorer

That’s great and all, and we commend you for pushing through with it. Unfortunately we no longer offer support for IE; it hasn’t received a major update since 2015 and Microsoft are dropping support for it later in the year.

If you’re using Windows 10 and want to stick with a built in browser, please consider switching to Edge. Or, if you really want to enjoy the internet properly we strongly recommend downloading Google Chrome here.
